Good Morning. Prior to the instagram rollout I need to move to business plan/model and financing. This needs to be kept as simple as possible for both personal use, potential investors, and to manage the founders box/tier investors in the first archive box. It needs to assume I have the DBA in CA for SLOANEHOME - but that I still need to register in Skaneateles/New York. I need to establish the LLC here and decide if an s crop is needed as well. I would like to act AS IF, I plan to by mid-week if I am moving forward with the space on No. 03 E. Genessee. I need to budget in order to cover the first 6 months rent of $2900 per month, estimate start up costs on a sliding scale for the space based on ideal conditions vs. more paired down. I would like to start the lease on April, and leave the store front as COMING soon for 2 months while I spend roughly 20K for build out and cosmetic work and develop the retail strategy in conjunction with neighboring businesses that are counseling me. By the time we open I would like the studio to fully function as it currently portends in the website. I would like a calendar for 'The Golden Reule,' Interior project management in place with a goal for the reveal on socials as well as to the public, and the announcement that a partnership with the Historical Society and other institutions will take place to schedule open house to the public in the fall accompanied by talks etc. The retail will derive from a product category of 'heirloom home goods' that will be featured at a l'officine Universale Bully style check out where small items can be touched and purchased with the same reverence as jewelr. . Another category of goods will funnel through the archives in the form of the vintage and regional goods plan for the Erie Canal/CNY equivalent of Olive Atelier model discussed. The first working window display will be 'The Return to Form,' wherein the quiet allusion to original use of the building as a hardware store: This is where the first Study Kit will be marketed to toursits and high income visitors as targeted by strategy developed in partnership with 'Sea Culture.' Other brand partnerships will include an Alkemis Line of Paints to quietly signal the wellness and environmental ethic and will be based on the exterior lacquor and interior lime wash, as well as the Sudio,' color in the rear. I will be building the Box 00 in the Jordan St Apt I am currently using as the studio inside of a custom oversized cigar box inspired by my father and the previous use of the actual space as a cigar shop and humidor. The first book to be sold and self published upon official opening and launch of the space will by 'Modernity is Antiquity.' That book will exist in the first BOX which is now called, 'The Golden Reule.' The tableu will exist in 2 forms, one is the working tableau in the rear of the studio in No. 03 and the second mimics it on the sales floor in full character and front of house mode. In the event that I am unable to obtain the storefront in time for this timeline - the building owner and I will negotiate when that transition can take place in the longterm until such time No.03 will become another number, the store will be virtual and rehearsed within the Jordan St Apt studio of the exact same layout and the architecture will remain the same 3 windows and same exterior illustration for the current site such that mystery will grow and the space will be both physical and non.uhj
